Daniel Kilby

At a young age Daniel was called to serve the nation. He enlisted in the United States Army and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While in the Army Daniel had the good fortune to be surrounded by exceptional leaders who taught him what it truly means to lead. He quickly excelled in the Army garnering recognition from his fellow soldiers. After he completed his service to the nation, Daniel wanted to have a more tangible and immediate effect on the people who needed help the most.

Daniel became a police officer in Gwinnett County, Georgia. While he was serving the community as a police officer, Daniel developed a passion for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) enforcement. He served on the Gwinnett County DUI task force where he investigated hundreds of DUI cases. Daniel held certifications as a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) and often taught traffic stops and DUI enforcement at the Gwinnett County Police Academy.

 

After working as a police officer, Daniel was determined to place himself in the best position possible to help the maximum number of people. He left the police force and began his journey to become a Criminal Defense Attorney.

Daniel attended Arizona State University where he earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy (Summa Cum Laude) with a minor in Political Science.

​

Daniel attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree. 

​

Daniel is now focused on criminal defense in east Tennessee where he offers zealous advocacy in a client-centered holistic approach to those accused of crimes.
